Miserable and uptight? No I'm just listening to funny shows called Opie and Anthony then Ron and Fez. My views on Stern come from listening to the same boring show every time, he is predictable and provides no entertainment. He tells guests that they aren't allowed to do other shows and tries to run their lives.

Actually Stern is not the original so yes it is very easy to argue that, Petey Greene and Steve Dahl are considered the first and original shock jocks. Stern even showed up on Greene's TV show that Greene got because his radio show was so popular.
I got the information about his guests from...his guests that get mad about it.
