Now I know there arent many that are going to be around here. Its not exactly a hotbed of activity. I sat for four days but when your stuck for a couple days and the third its late and you know you're probably not going to get a load until the mid morning, $37 is a great deal especially this summer. hotel has minifridges and a micro in the lobby. Laundry 27" tv. free hi-speed internet. a kfc and a mcdonalds on each side within walking distance.

I'm using the CLC card now, and have a question: I seem to remember someone commenting that the card entitles you to a 24 hr stay, regardless of checkout time. I checked the CLC website, but can't find any mention of it - does anyone know whether it's fact or fiction?
MSinger, you nailed that one down! At least with the steak you can take it with you and munch on it going down the road.
I got a motel room once in Champaign, Il. It was about 10:00 a.m., hot, humid and I had driven all night. Showered and slept for about 3 hours when my pager went off. Grabbed a load going to somewhere in Ohio. I left my room key at the front desk. Paid my bill and said to hold the room I may be back. I returned about 03:00, got my room back and went to sleep. Well worth the deadhead back then.

Update: I sent an email to CLC, asking whether the card entitles one to a 24 hr stay, and today I got a reply. According to Heather Brown (of Corporate Lodging), it does.
Of course, the email arrived after I'd checked out, but I will print it out, in case I need it for backup, next time. If anyone else would like to do the same, PM me with your email, and I'll forward the official reply.
