Ok hello everyone I'm a driver driving as a contractor driver I provide all my own meals and if I go somewhere that requires more then one day I have to provide my own hotel room or sleep in truck I drive hot shot mostly dealer vehicles the guy I drive for use to pay me buy trip like a run from Lubbock TX to Evansville Indiana 1000+ miles and would make 500$ now he is wanting to cut that to 20% of load does this sound like it's still a good deal

Only you can decide if it is a good deal. Was roughly .50/mile a good deal for you? You said he wants to cut the pay to 20%. Is that 20% of the current roughly .50/mile or 20% of the gross receipts for the load. If it is 20% of the gross, will you be able to verify what the gross is?

There is more money in hotshot freight vs cars.just cars are every place but they move pretry cheap.if you like hotshot then find someone that just uses autos when they need to get you out of a dead area.if your from TX check out landstar.orientation is in ft worth.
