I've actually never had one of the chocolate pudding pies. Weird, I know. But it's just that whenever they had those on the shelves, they were usually right next to an apple pie, and apple won.

Perhaps. We don't have much to do with that side of the family.

I think the unions are back on the negotiating table again, read it.

Did you forget a link?

Hostess, Union Agree To Mediate, Likely Helping Twinkie-Maker Avoid Shutdown

Hostess Brands Inc. and its second largest union will go into mediation to try and resolve their differences, meaning the company won't go out of business just yet.*

Yep. Was it all just a masterful bluff to get the union back to the table with their tails between their legs?

Also, they may have had their best week ever!

The company's announcement on Friday that it would move to liquidate prompted people across the country to rush to stores and stock up on their favorite Hostess treats.*

Whether Hostess and all their wonderfull treats survives or not, all I can say is: It will be alright people. All one has to do is go to any supercenter type store like Walmart and visit their snack aisle. You will find there, every cream infused cake treat delight, in most any desirable flavor imaginable. It will be alright.:D

There's a raccoon in the "Over the hedge" cartoon that is going to be in big trouble. He's addicted to Hostess treats, even sold his soul for a warehouse full of them (which he's eaten since). So, hearing they may go out of business entirely-- at last report talks with the union have stalled yet again, and the company is keeping mum now until the next court date-- may cause some rather alarming developments for the raccoon.

It's ok - 'alarming developments' are what Bruce Willis does best, lol. ;)

Bruce Willis gave voice to the raccoon in the animated movie 'Over the Hedge'. I liked the movie, because it's feels better to laugh at things that are funny - just for a change of pace, you know.

I never even heard of that movie. Besides, personification of animals is bad for the environment. LOL!

I'd say that anthropomorphism is worse for the idiots who believe that a raccoon or moose, or whatever] is a friendly critter.
It's why I loved "The Life of Pi" - the kid was under zero illusions that the Bengal tiger sharing his raft wouldn't eat him in a heartbeat. Great story!
I know: you never heard of that one either. You really oughtta get out more, there's a lot you miss.

I get out all the time, in the real world. Not the fantasy world of movies. I hunt and fish. It also helps with my vitamin D levels. I miss little, I am a pretty good shot.

Doing things is far more fun and far better for me than just sitting around watching movies I have no interest in. Being outside, in clean fresh air, spending time with good friends is just how it should be.
