Honda’s North American plants to resume full output in August

June 6 for the Toyota plant in Cambridge. 1 shift only until November.
Looks like a long slow summer and picking up a bit in the fall.....
I got that from my neighbor who works there. They show up everyday for training and seminars and stuff. No layoffs other than cleaning staff.

I was telling my sister about how the earthquake affected business and the parts pipeline. She says she has a friend who works for KYB Automotive, a Japanese-owned firm that manufactures suspension parts like shocks and struts. According to her friend, there's been no slowdown. They've been running at capacity the while time.

kyb makes a lot of aftermarket parts. always a market for the after market.......gee thats kinda poetic i think.
