Took a sweet load to kansas City, MO on monday sat Tuesday, But come hell or high water I will be leaving and heading to MI on wednesday, I will be home on Christmas, can not and will not disapoint my three children and girlfriend, there is nothing that could be worth that. I will be on duty the whole time, but will not run far without a round trip, I will take all the $100 shorties they offer, at least till after the new year. Hope you all have a very good Christmas and a safe New Year. I also hope we all have a very profitable 2007.

Ya had to ask that questsion

For 23 years I was gone missed alot to Xmas B-day Holidays ect.

For 23 years I stood the Watch.

My answer is simple I am home now and Out of service till I recoupe my hours. If they Hit me with a Good Single Run since I am runnng single till the 2nd I will do it. If its just a fuel burner I wont.

Not many will be in service I will be waiting for there call. all they got to do is call me and make the offer. Im not going to turn down loads after loads and it count against me so OOS I will be but they call and its a good one Off ILL go.

So yes to your question good possibility I will be running.

Happy Holidays and
Have a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year and if I see ya out there
Ill get ya that cup of CoCoa or Coffee.

Have a Safe one

Kevin

We got home this morning about 10:30 and will be home til after the 1st. (The truck goes into the Freightliner dealer on the 28th so it all depends on them on when we will be back).

We will be spending Christmas Eve with my family (9 brother's and sister's) to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday - he is actually a Christmas baby!! Then we will see Jim's sister and her family on Christmas, have dinner at home and spend time with our babies - Shadow and Shiloh. Plus we will have people dropping in and out all day.

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

OK head home friday afternoon after getting done here in Memphis for FedEx. they made sure I have enough money to get home, unexpectly got a call this morning with a very good offer but have to wait a little for it.

I am trying to calm my wife down and tell here not to worry that she didn't buy me a gift, but of course it is a big deal with her - the owner of the company decided no bonuses this year and catered the Christmas lunch this year from McDonalds or some other fast food resturant and didn't even show up to wish everyone a happy Christmas - most likely having a big party at here million plus house for her friends and her charity people.

I told her the real reason I am cutting my '5 weeks out' short is I have too many gifts for the dogs and cats I have to get out of the truck, I am running out of room and can't move around. She knows I am kidding, I just wish she would settle down about this gift giving thing.

The short answer. We came home today and took the truck out of service. I did send dispatch a note letting them know if they get in a bind and need us to run a quick load we will be happy to help out. We are only staying out of service until Dec.26.
God bless our Military and Vets.

We took a last minute load from Rochester, NY to Laredo, TX and we are enroute there as i type. Simply too good a load to turn down, regardless of whatever holiday is on the horizon. I only hope we get back to Ohio by the 23rd to see my daughter and family. Hope everyone is safe and happy over the holidays. Take care.
