Hino P1545

Hi all,
We have a 2012 Hino 338-J08E with a "P1545 Start--up Frequency"code. The truck cranks a little longer than normal to start. Jaltest, Autel, Jpro and HinoDX all show the same code. Nothing in my Hino manuals either. I can not find any info.

I don't have a definition for that code, either. Weird. Are there any symptoms besides extended crank? And how extended is the crank before starting?

No other symptoms, cranks for a good 5 seconds then starts and runs great. Driver hasn't report and other drivabilty issues.

Do you have any backstory on it? Any event that coincided with this symptom?

Purchased 3 Hino 338's from an auction and this ones had this code on and off, starting shortly after we got it.

Update: the code simply means that the truck has been started a gazillion times. You can reset it by going to VCS system protection data and resetting that line.
