hino cruise control issue

I have a hino 268 truck. It's 2016. The cruise control works and does not work sometimes. Any ideas on how to set it?

I have an 07 and mine has 2 buttons on the left side of the steering wheel on the dash. It’s say it on my buttons.

Mine have the same buttons. But when I press on them sometimes. Cruise control works other times just doesn't want to set

Check your brake pedal. I had a hino where the return spring on the brake pedal was weak, and so the brakes were not engaged, but the lights were on and the computer thought they were engaged due to the pedal not being fully retracted. hope that makes sense, kinda hard to explain

Stupid question but. Is the light coming on, on the dash when you put the cruise on? Then is the light coming on when the cruise is engaged?

Yes the light comes on but cruise does not want to engage

figured it out. i had it in engine brake mode. thats why it would turn on....
