Hino 268 won't start

I have a 2018 Hino with a 268 engine and it won't start. I changed the batteries and it tries to start, the engine turns over, it can start with starting fluid, but once I cut off the fluid the truck turns off. I already checked the diesel pump and it has pressure. Something that caught my attention is that the check engine light doesn't come on. Can someone help me?

The absence of a check engine light might indicate an issue with the ECM (engine control module) or related sensors. Check for loose connections or damaged wiring.

I had a similar problem in the past, Hino changed out my fuel rails, dumb question but are you in a extremely cold location

It wasn't cold My truck is in Pittsburg PA.
The check engine returned, but now I have to change the starter.
