Oh yeah, I can see how they're so similar. $75k vs. $300k, first class airfare vs. chartered G450, deluxe room vs. presidential suite, two bottles of water with bendy straws vs. half a dozen other rooms for entourage plus fees for same... yeah, really a valid comparison.

Also consider that this doesn't take into consideration the cost for accommodations of the Secret Service detail that accompanies her on these trips, courtesy of the American taxpayer.

For the record I charge MUCH less for my speaking fees. I don't know why I don't get more jobs.

Hilary really can't be faulted for the morons at colleges and corporations that are willing to meet her demands for a speaking engagement. Pilgrim has a valid point though, she should be reimbursing the American taxpayer for her purely for profit speaking trips.

As for the chartered Gulfstream vs. first class commercial; it may be cheaper to go with the Gulfstream to accommodate her entourage and Secret Service detail. It would certainly benefit the flying public to not have her on a commercial flight. Think of the flight delays, extra security checks, passengers getting bumped etc. that her flying commercial would cause. I could see her flying commercial on Malaysia Airlines though.

Public colleges and universities usually fund speaking engagements, concerts, art shows and other live performances with "activity fees" that are part of a student's tuition. A select board of students or members of the student government decide on how and where these activity fees are spent.

Just so NO public funds are used. That is money taken from taxpayers for funding education. Not that we have ANY say on how OUR money is used.
