Anyone burning firewood wood for home heating??
Need a fun day in the woods??:D:Bring the family
I have a large area of hardwoods that I want cut out and will give ya the wood for free..I am not selling this I just want it gone..You cut,,, you load,,you stack the brush in somewhat of a orderly fashion,(pile it so it will burn is all)
Now I ain't going to give this to anyone for commercially selling but if you and your family burn wood its yours for the taking..
To be honest I am getting just too old to do this anymore and dont want to just cut the wood down and let it rot,,I want to see the wood go to good use.. Its time anyways these trees are
ready to be harvested and I really really need the daylight in this area..
Contact me thru the private massage here with your number
I will get back to the first few ppl that want it..
Please remember the rules of this...
You cut
You haul
You do clean-up,,,(minor clean up,brush pile)
Ya haul what ya cut that day,,I dont want piles of wood left for 6 months @ a time
You are responsible for your own safety,,(chain saws and falling trees are nasty stuff,,,please know what your doing)
Not far outside of the A.A area in Mich

Right Moose thanks,,,,But was kinda hoping to help some trucker out with heating,,,just offering it up to another expediter....
For sure Craigs list would bring all the commercial wood cutters out of the woodwork..Right now the loggers dont want to pay enough or whats its worth...

Just a question, have you had your stand cruised to see what it is worth? Just wondering. I will I had the time to go after some, but alas, I have to work. Who knows, if things go bad and I am forced out I will be over in spades?

Yep Layout I had 2 loggers out over the last year,,for what they wanted to pay I didnt think it was worth destroying my woods. Ill just let nature take its course and clean it up as it falls I guess if I cant put it to use or find anyone that wants it.
Like I said Ill give it away,,but not to a commerical guy that wants something for next to nothing...

I do have a buddy that cuts but it grows back faster then he is burning it..He pulled bout 8 cords out last year and unless ya tripped on his stumps ya wouldnt even know he was there..

Michigan wood is illegal to take out of state...due to the emerald beetle investation...

Their are some laws preventing it,,,but I beleive some can be cleared for transport???? Im kinda thinking it maybe for certain types of wood??
I have Oak,,Cherry,,Hickory

Really not sure on any of this tho,,Transport at your own risk I guess:D

Oh I wish I could take advantage of this. I only have a supply of wood that will hold up this winter. I do have a tree of known type in my yard that needs taken down but the types of wood you have are much better in the wood stove. I guess I could give up duck hunting, YEAH RIGHT!! Sure hope we can get out this year.

It would be a bit easier if ya let me store all my gear at your house.:D

We are still on track for our U.P. trip unless work really falls off sharply. Its slowed down some but my penny jar is still full for the trip. We are planning on going up later then normanl..So far the 15th of Oct is what we are planing on. Going to try to pick up on some better flight bird instead of the normal locals birds that we get up there.

You are more than welcome to store you gear at the house. With any luck that gear includes a 18' tiller steer deep vee boat!! :p Duck numbers look good again this year. Wish I had time to go up and hunt either Little Bay Da Noc or the "Bridge". LOTS of redheads again this year and they like both areas. They often to good on them on Saginaw Bay as well. We get them in spurts and they seem to skip years every now and then in our area. Last year was slow for them, may this year they will pour in!! :D
