Just wanted to stop by the forum after being away for a while and say hi. Lawrence...love the new look and new graphics!
As those who have kept in contact by email know, I lost my ride back in December, due to the owner I was driving for deciding to get out of the business. I really did enjoy my time as a driver, tho I could have used more money!...LOL. Now, I have a desk job working for a Fortune 500 company in the Columbus Ohio area, decent pay, great benefits, warm in the winter, air conditioned in the summer, great people to work for, but still have a bit of the driver still in me. I find myself down on the delivery dock at lunchtime talking to the drivers...LOL.....guess it never goes away. My wife says I should just buy the nicest RV I can afford and just take a long trip on the weekends.....that way I can still get the driving in, not get payed, but be comfortable...LOL.
Seriously, just wanted to say hi, and see if the business had picked up yet this year. I know last year I was still only getting 3-4 runs a week in October-November. Hope it's going well for everyone. Drop a line if you get a chance to [email protected].
