Are you in a hotel or did you get WiFi working in your truck ? Since you have time to kill check this forum out http://roundtable.truck.net/index.php . It's kind of a pain to activate registration. You have to wait for a couple of e-mails but it's worth it .

Ok, we all do typos and the occasional misspelled word, as I'm sure Greg meant Mensa, but I don't think it's asking too much for posters to do a quick read before posting, to catch the obvious things. It's tough to read a post that's chock full of errors, ya know?

Just a wee bit defensive there, Bama? I wasn't referring to you, but to the posts that are so full of errors they're almost unreadable. Is it so hard to use a spellcheck program?
If you were referring to me, I'd like to say that I am not well educated - I am, in fact, a high school dropout. If I sound well educated, it's because that's the image I'd like people to have - they rarely actually ask to see the credentials :+
Perfect expediter? You apparently missed the post in which I described how I once managed to be 2 1/2 hrs late for a delivery - and it was entirely my fault, too. Or the many posts in which I didn't see a typo before I hit 'post' - we are none of us perfect.

The real point is: Do you really want others to understand your communication ? Do you care whether you are understood - and that the other party actually "gets" what it is you're trying to say ?

Those that do, make an effort - which spelling and grammar are a part of. Doesn't mean they're always correct but they are at least trying.

Those that could care less whether they are understood just don't bother .......... too much effort involved ........

Some folks talk to well, just talk .... hear themselves I guess.

The above is not aimed at anyone in particular, just an observation.

hope you take my apolige i never made it to high school and can't spell company i worked once spent a bunch of money to try and teach me
so they could move me up to supervisor but it didn't work
bell does my spelling and paper work so i'm the dummy here

don't call yourself a dummy. i'm not good at spelling or grammar. or math for that fact either. instead of focusing on what you aren't good at focus on what you can do well. like me. i'm pretty good at tarping loads on flatbeds, doing farm work, driving trucks, and decent at working on guns. i'm sure you are no dummy. your strongpoints my be different than someone elses. my grandpa was one of the smartest and wisest men i've known in my life, but he had to drop out of school on the third day of the 8th grade to help take care of his family. but he taught his self a whole lot. just please don't down grade yourself there are plenty of people in this world who will do it to you so you have to be positive about yourself.
