...in that LandStar Sprinter driving real slow down the Road my store is on here in Haltom City Texas???

"Expeditors" are NEVER back here in this Neighborhood! Sure, I see you guys running down the freeway every once in a while, but to be off the freeway and going down this particular road is something that is Odd....Very Odd!

No Paranoia.....Just Eerie Spooky Odd.......

My shop is on an "Off The Main" road area where it's mainly a Housing Neighborhood with a couple of little industrial buidlings here and there. Never thought I'd ever see a Nice Fully Equipped "Expedite" Sprinter with a QC & AC on top of it driving down this little road I'm on.

Speaking of Paranoia.....A Helicoptor has flown over my house 3 times in the last 10 minutes(FOR REAL!).....So if I'm not around for a few days....The Guys in Black probably have something on me.

Well, there ya go ....

FWIW, I once ran a single roll of self-adhesive labels from near Troy, OH to Belvidere, IL so that some poor sod could go into Belvidere Assembly in the wee hours of the morning and re-label a whole bunch of mis-labelled exhaust parts .... delivered 'em to his home, about 10 miles away from the plant .... in some residential neighborhood in the middle of nowhere ....

Another time I took a very expensive piece of training equipment from a company near Toledo, OH and delivered it to a golf course designer ..... at his home on the bay in Jupiter, FL ...

After all this here ain't General Truckin' ..... it's EXPEDITING ....

I'm sure others have many more interesting stories .... stick around - you'll find out we'll go just about anywhere ...

Yup. I delivered a 3 pound box to a guys house at 3 AM... Turned out it was a special part for a zero turn mower.

who'd have though they would pay expedite rates to get it there quicker than priority overnight.

BTW I got yelled at by said guy for waking him up. I blamed dispatch because I asked before I knocked.

It was me ..... I was bored and was just driving around, looking around. (Was looking for a pawn shop, I'm in the market for a used laptop, they were all closed by 7pm, I may drive back over that way, I saw several.)

Ended up over here at the Pilot nw of Ft Worth.

I had a dispatch from Ft Worth to Chicago, but the shipper refused to load it as I wished.

Was a 1200# crate, but he wouldn't turn it longways so it fit forward of the wheels. (It was to wide to fit between the wheel wells). He wanted me to load 1200 # on the tail, so I would have been heavy back there ... I refused to allow him to do it he refused to load it.

They're sending in a team straight truck this morning to get it. (Cutting their nose off to spite their face) It would have been no issue in the loading, he just didnt want to do it.

Didn't have a clue anyone lived over that way, or I would have stopped in .... I went down that road from over on Trinity Lane to I-35 .... was in no hurry, was sight seeingl.

Question.....have you added a Rooftop AC to your Sprinter since that Pic in your Sig was taken?

If so.....then Yep.....you drove right past me real slow with the window down, and I think you were wearing a green T-Shirt. Older guy.... I was standing outside my Store forcing Cancer down my throat when you went scootin' by. I saw the "Sprinter" coming down the road, just didn't pay tooo much attention to it til you got closer. (Lots of Sprinters in this area - Just not Expeditors) As you hit the front of my store I realized, HEY, there's a Freeegin Full Blown Expeditor!!

I have no a/c, but I assure you it was me. There is no other Landstar van in the Dallas area, and I was driving west on on Midway Road ....

Yes...He Does Exist...I seen Him with my own Eyes...and he Proved/Confirmed he was in my 'Hood' yesterday too!

As far as that other Guy from Landstar that posts here too....Seen Him Once also. Back when he was running under the Purple, I passed him and his wife on 820 in N Ft Worth. Tried to wave at him a couple of times. But, just as he is here on the board at times, he just looked down his nose at me and kept on driving.

It's probably due to the fact that he knew that you were soon to be a 2 time winner of the A.C. awards. Seriously, it is because FECC doesn't allow it's contractors to acknowledge anyone out on the highways.
