Kinda hard to accept reality, is it not?
Just stateing the facts. With growth comes the loss of natural habitats. No way around it.
It's only a fact because the human race is stupid. We had MORE than enough acreage wasted to build for year without destroying more habitat. We have enough that we could be increasing habitat which would benefit not only wildlife but Mankind as well. We overproduce food as it is and now we are destroying habitat to burn food in our cars.
Want a new mall? Build it in the city limits of Detroit. Want to grow gasoline? Grow it in the city limits of Detroit. In other words, utilize every acre of land where the habitat has already been changed and take no more from what is left, until there is no other option.
Farm smarter. It is profitable to farm in a manner that would allow for wildlife to thrive. Produce less food, we over produce now as it is. Don't farm fuels. Use less fertilizers on crops we don't use, like lawns. Outlaw the use of fertilizers on everything but food crops. No need for fertilizing make pretties, like lawns, and games, like golf. Stop wasting land planting dead people, we have been doing that for years and not once, in this country, has a new person grown out of the hole they were planted in. IF we have to plant dead bodies, use that land twice and put all golf courses on the same land that cemeteries are using.
Now, I know that none of this can be done in a country that values freedom. There is NO WAY I support government forcing people to do what is right, or smart. It is a shame that people are as short sighted as they are. It is a shame that we have become so divorced from the land, and nature, that most have no clue how important wild lands and wildlife is to Mankind. It is a shame that the "anti's" control education and are not teaching the basics of reality. It is a shame what we are doing, period.

Always ready to go out as long as the waders are dry. Not sure on Monday.. I tryed to stay out for the weekend but as usual I ended up dead heading home for lack of work.. But hit me up for sure if no load offers are coming in I just may try it. At least let me know how ya do out there.
