Surely there will always be fleet owners seeking solo drivers. Not all expedite companies utilize team trucks only. The availability of these positions may be less frequent.

As the business and rates have changed over the years it is much harder for a truck owner to make money with a single driver in the truck. I know of very few owners with single drivers in trucks and when they do it is usually a special situation.
