I think that was my position prior to Obama being office ..... although probably not nearly as soon as it should have been ....
It has been my position previously (back in the Perot-era)
Possibly because when what we deemed as "our" party .... or at least the one most closest to our values, our views, was in power there was at least some small hope ..... some prayer .... that just possibly somehow, those things which we hold in common with the stated aims of the Party (as opposed to what the Party actually delivered - which was far, far different), such as less government and more freedom, had at least a chance of becoming reality ...
Sadly, in my estimation (and others as well), we were betrayed .... personally, for myself, I can't convey the level of hurt that caused and the frustration that came as a result. At this juncture, we ain't happy campers ....

Well, I can't say that I really do ..... I haven't listened to Rush for years, Bill O' turns my stomach .... I do catch Beck occasionally at least when he was on CNN - what I saw was pretty good, although it was not like I caught him every day .... be interesting to see whether he changes or not now that he's on Faux .....
I'd much rather prefer to read than watch or listen .... far less drama to play on the emotions that way .....
BTW, in the last election, I believe that every candidate that I voted for was not an incumbent, save for one (a local city council person, she is a Republican - the only one in our fair city)
