Thanks - yeah it seems like there are a couple of different threads there .... good info for coming up with a low-budget solution maybe ....... if I can wire the Heater Booster to work manually off a regular switch (DC makes one for this apparently) and then get the REST function to work longer than 20 minutes it might be enough to keep it above freezing .......
