When I see stories like the OP I wonder if the person is truly innocent ( didn't actually do it) or just deemed innocent (not guilty) in a court of law due to evidence being dismissed or other factors.
If it's the former, then they should give him a boat load of money.
With OJ's case, it was all about jury nullification. A guilty man walked free and was deemed innocent due to other factors.
But at least with the OP story the Prosecution appeared to have flimsy evidence to convict him. The story doesn't give all the details of the case though.
