Has anyone converted a school bus into an expeditor?

One question, how flexible is Superthane hose in cold weather?

Superthane did fine in the cold, and with heated lard we're talking sub zero to 180 degree short cycles. Never had any problems with it, though the literature said it was long term UV degradeable. I think Superthane maxed out at 45psi, so it wouldnt be suitable for some fuel apps. The bus and the lard system had constant problems with air bubbles and the resulting hard starts/prime/rough running, so being able to just visually check it with the clear hose was a lifesaver.

I have seen one good use for old buses: car hauling. Picture a 40 foot flat front bus with most of the body cut away, leaving a flat deck but a few feet in the front as a sleeper. Add ramps, and you could haul two cars pretty easy. Now that I think of it, bus to flatbed might make a decent rig.
