Oh no it's not. Meijers Angus steaks are the best we've ever had... and we've gone thru a lot of steak. Talk about melting in your mouth!

Are you saying that the venison referred to in the OP was processed and properly documented by a USDA approved beef and pork processor?

All in Michigan are. I would be so are all in all states with a program such a Hunters for the Hungry. I don't know what you mean by "documented". How does one "document" food provided directly from God?

For those who don't believe in God, why would you not trust "Mother Nature"?

Nature produces the BEST food out there. Better for you, better flavor. It is NOT shot up with the "crap" they shoot up farm animals with. It will not cause early puberty, or cancers etc. It is 100% NATURAL as food is meant to be. There is not better food source than the wild.

At MY hunkers we have venison tenderloins, marinated in 90 proof bourbon and "secret spices", then waved gently and quickly over the flames. One has never eaten till one has had my tenderloin medallions.
