Happy/thankful thread

OK.....let's do a thread where you can only list something happy or thankful on it. Maybe this will catch on. I'll go first: I am thankful to still have my parents; I am still surviving in the expedite business; and am that I'll soon have my first grandbaby to hold and spoil. I am also happy that spring has finally come to upstate NY and we no longer have to fight the snow and cold. :)

I'm thankful I have a job working for wonderful flexible people, my husband has a job doing what he loves, that I have a roof over my head, food (too much!) on the table, a husband who will do practically anything to make me happy, that I have the freedom to homeschool my daughter, and that my parents live nearby.:)

i am thankful for gracie, my wife. she has has a made a huge impact on my life and too many things to say here. i am a new man because of her.

i am thankful my two sons have 5 fingers on each hand and 5 toes on each foot. the elder is grinding away at northern ill u to graduate in may of'10 and the younger is working and working hard as a jr in high school.

the other child is making his way in santa rosa cty in calif living with his dad and step mom. he is a great kid and is missed around the house.

my biggest thanks goes to my mother, who when left a widow at 29 in 1949, kept me as her child.

I am thankful for a wonderful husband that has put up with me for 28 years. I am thankful for my 3 grown sons and my 2 grandchildren. Julia is 7 and Nick is 3. I am thankful that I still have my parents, and my husbands parents, who happen to be best friends with each other. I am thankful that we still have a job that we love, a house, that right now, we don't get to see often enough. I am thankful for the hand full of close friends that have been there for 25+ years.
I am also thankful for the people that I have exchanged ideas with on EO but have not met YET. :)

Because you have the Right to spoil them, Give them a Sugar Rush and send them Home with their Parents so the Parents can know what kind of Pain in the Butt they were when they were Younger. Lol Lol :D

I am thankful for my wife who has always supported me in my career, even when it meant giving up a good stable salary to do this. I am thankful for my dog, she is a fantastic welcoming committee when I come home. I am thankful that I live in a country that is free. That right next door to it is another country that is also free and that welcomes me be it business or pleasure. I am thankful to be able to hang out here with a bunch of great folks.

And...... without the pom poms, I am glad I work with FedEx.

I am grateful for my hubby and best friend of 17 years.

I am grateful for my sons, grandson, new step-granddaughter and my dear sweet daddy that is still with us.

I am grateful for my son (especially) who seemed so troubled growing up, finally have become a man with bright goals and ambitions and his new bride (and her daughter) who I welcome openly into my family and my life.

I am grateful that we have found a new life in expediting and we love it. We are grateful for Expediter Services and FedEx for their support of us.

And, since somebody else brought it up . . . I am grateful that G.W. Bush and his cronies have finally left office so we can get this country back on track. My ancestors have been rolling over in their graves because of that idiot.

This list could go on for pages:

I am thankful for:

A awesome husband who spoils me rotten even after 30 years
2 of the best kids you could ask for who grew into my best friends
the chance to be paid to see this country
the chance to meet many of the people on EO who ROCK!
the chance to meet other over achievers in our industry who push Bob and me to do better
the chance to further my education
the chance to give back to this industry a small portion of what we have been given
the chance to own our own business and the ups and downs that go with that
to consider one of our good friends Terry and Rene’
to have Lawrence start this site so many of can learn the easy way and not the hard way
to be able to work with FedEx Custom Critical on policies
that Wingnut was smart enough to start this cool thread
to be whom and what we want to be!

What am I thankful for? My girlfreind Debby, who has been extremley patiet and understanding through this transformation in my life that I am going through.I am thankful for her excellent cooking, and always warm and never-ending tender ways of sharing herself with me. She is such a blessing to me in so many ways.I am really thankful for her sense of humor dealing with my dutch ovens in bed at night (farting in bed and then pulling the covers over her head),even if they are blamed on the dog or I act as if I dont know what she is talkng about.I am thankful for my excellent mom and dad, who have stayed together since high school, their patience, guidance and honesty.I am thankful for my dog, who always seems to know what I am thinking or feeling.I am thankful for the people I have met on the road over the years, they are special to me in so many ways. I am thankful for the company I work for,the closeness, caring, and honesty we share is unheard of in this industry. But most of all, I am thankful for having the faith in God,he is always there no matter what. And he always answers my prayers, in his own time, teaching me to be patient and to trust in him.Never underestimate the power of prayer.

I am happy/thankful that there are those among us that will run for per mile rates of ".41, .48, .50". I fully encourage anyone else that is so inclined to do the same.

The sooner this herd is thinned, the better.

I feel your pain. Unfortunately ACORN is still alive and well so the chances of getting him out at the next election will be slim. We can always hope.. 01-20-13 Change We Can Believe In

I'm thankful for a lot. I'm thankful for my hubby whom I love (and who frustrates me to no end sometimes). I'm thankful for my 3 beautiful children (and one of my sons-in-law.. the other one not so much). I'm thankful for my even more beautiful grandchildren, all 6 of them and I'll be thankful when #7 arrives safely next month. I'm thankful that both of my parents are still with me, and for the rest of my family.

I'm thankful for my work, my trucks owner and the carrier I haul for. I'm thankful for my health and my freedom and most importantly, for the Supreme Being who guides my life.

For a certain women and 5 kids who have made the last 29 years the best ride a guy could go on, and that the adventure continues.....
