I wouldn't have believed it when I was the same age as the girl in the photo, but this was one of the best birthdays ever, without having received a single 'present'. My Auntie P called early in the morning to read my horoscope for the coming year, (with the suggestion that I keep an eye out for a Libra, as the most compatible
), my youngest daughter called to suggest I go buy a new pair of shoes (both my daughters are convinced that I have a shoe fetish), the folks I drive for sang 'Happy Birthday" on my voicemail, I found a card ordering me to have a happy birthday OR ELSE! from one of my bestest friends, Highway Star & Broompilot went out to hoist a few in honor of the occasion, and - I nearly hit the 3000 mile mark for the past week.
I am blessed to be surrounded by so much love & laughter, and I hope that everyone else can find the same good fortune in their lives.
