Husband/wife team with 2004 Sprinter 2500. We are nubbies to expedited driving , but have driven vans or motorhomes with trailers for many years cross country with Art and Craft shows. Will we have to replace our current van to find employment?
In the past we have spent 4-9 months at a time on the road.
We would want to make sure there is enough work to keep us busy and learn a little more before investing in a new vehicle.
Thanks for any thoughts on our situation.:)

Might want to keep your current van and run it a few months to see if you like it. Could be an idea before you put down a chunk of change only to find that you don't.
Just a thought you might want to ponder.

It depends , some carriers want 5 years or less on the age of the van. Call'em and see, if it is low milage then they may sign you on.

Thanks for the replies!
Yes. We are good at the sleep and drive switch offs. When we ran with RVs we showered and cooked in motion. Fuel was our only stop. But then we would work out doors for a couple of days before driving again.:)
Our Sprinter is 220,000 miles all open road. So it is 'high milage' but we have had nothing I would consider trouble with it. When we ran in e350's we saw a lot of exhaust heat and transmission drama.
So does anyone think with the sprinter we own we could get experience expediting? Or are we going to be better off hiring out as drivers?
