Just because you pay a person what is owed for there work does not make you a respectable employer, damage control is not that simple and I hope that future employees go to a more thorough pre employment process then those who found out the hard way, if you treat people with respect and give them honesty than you will have less problems...IMHO of course

No the most ****ing thing was over paying one person who left after this thread was started then demanding they come on here and say something positive! And if they didn't giving them an open ended threat or least that's what it sounded like to me...if a positive comment was put on here they'd let it go if not.....
Sounds like a bribe or blackmail to me...though idk where's the guy on here saying I started multiple threads about this? I'm curious to know what kind of bonus he got, maybe he can ask his good friend that his company bought him to help him out!

That really makes no sense. Why would a carrier "over pay" someone, and then ask them after the fact to come on EO and say/post something positive? Don't believe it would be "blackmail/bribe" if he already left. What would the carrier have to hang over his head?
The comments don't seem to make sense.

They over paid him then the next day said post a positive and we let it go...seemed to give the impression that they would come after him for overpayment or something. Implied he was the one commenting on this thread which he wasn't so idk why they thought it would work...unfortunately the guy doesn't either have the backbone to publicly say what happened or he really believes they can somehow hurt his new job, come after the over payment or something bc he now won't comment when he planned to. I'm more than willing to give gf the money back if he'll speak the truth!

My personal opinion is that they over paid him bc of this thread and then demanded a good review to try perform damage control. Another one of their drivers quit yesterday and they told him today they overpaid him about 75 bucks for his trouble...he told them no you didn't actually what you paid is what I was owed bc he kept very good records of his mileage etc. I see a trend though...let's over pay so we can silence of those we did wrong!

If you can buy someone's silence for $75 it's money well spent.
Take it from advertising budget.
I am not saying it did or did not happen.
In this market, where so much is word of mouth, if you can't earn a good reputation, buy it.

Happened to a good friend Xiggi...though we are not so friendly at moment bc I stuck my neck out and now they're silent. They other driver who just quit is also a good friend who would say exactly how he feels but unfortunately he's not on eo and doesn't have internet access at the moment.
