Personally this old chubby guy gets tired even thinking about it. Maybe I should work out just a little bit more myself.

Not sensitive, just a decision to be more attentitive. After letting your pot shots go unchallenged for a long time, I have decided to point them out in the future. Just as "boast" is in the eye of the beholder, so is pot shot. Attention to your use of vague references and value-laden terms before you post will be appreciated and will help keep your posts from being misunderstood. Before concluding a post from you is a pot shot, I'll try to be fair and ask first for you to clarify your meaning if it is not immediatly clear. Fair enough?

Or not. I don't see how that would help anything. What would help is if you try harder to fairly characterize my posts when you refer to them and to think twice before using vague references and value-laden terms. Is that a fair request?

I don't expect that we can all remember each and every one of your posts going back at least 2 years and to also try avoid making comments in new threads that you will perceive as "shots" on any comment you have ever posted here. :+

My intent in all of this is to try to get RichM from taking unfair and disrespectful pot shots at me, as he has repeatedly done in the past. Having mostly let them go in the past, I have decided to make an issue of them in the future.

Should a moderator set such an example? I do not think so. If RichM had issues with what I said, there are more professional and positive ways to raise the issue and discuss them. In fact, if RichM had issues with what I said, a well-crafted response and dialogue could provide information of great interest and benefit to all readers.

In this case it is crystal clear that RichM is taking what I call a pot shot. It is not about posts made years ago. It is about a post that RichM specifically referes to in the present and then goes on to mock. That is bad form for any member, and especially for a moderator, I believe.

It is my sincere hope that after a few more of RichM's pot shots are exposed as such, the practice will stop.

I read through your example. I don't see any "pot shots".
There is little to question as you have wrote over a period of time that "experience doesn't matter"

If suddenly your opinion has changed, then maybe a different prospective could be provided.

Example noted but I've also noted a theme of "research vs experience" in your posts which opens you up for comments such as the one you protest about particularly when some of your comments go against generally accepted concepts about the value of experience.

One can expect commentary, even belittling and lampooning and spin, when the original comments are somewhat controversial.

You cannot control what is beyond your control... so big deal, some of us are making fun of certain of your comments. Lighten up and get over it.

Well it never fails ..start a good post and by the time I get to write my nonsensicle bs(?spelling bs its a fight) .. kids Dont make me pull this truck over!! lol Ive started ot at 285 lbs after 2.5 yrs I weigh 205 roughly ..How you may ask ..let me tell yyall. Walk. wall mart prkn lots ,, truck stops, shipper/consignee industrial areas .. jump rope in the box. use load bars to step on.. stand in place airobics in front of my bunk. Here the secret you wont find in a bottle ..burn more calories than you take in bottom line. You have to make yourself move .. I fi can do it u can .. the other post is in womens view.. Yes I lurk there some times why ..Its where the girls hang out duuuh..CHERII . I like them..I like them alot!! they smell purrty and feel nice..
