Great little Gadget WI-FI finder

Got one for $12.00 and just have to push a button and it shows if I'm within 500 feet of a hotspot. I now do not have to fire up my laptop to see if I'm in a area. And I can get a modle that even fist on key change for $15.00. the one I got cost a little more because got one with RoHS Which in electonics makes sure it does not have lead. Could got othe cheaper but have grandkids and never know what they may do.

Thats a great idea, I think that it is easier than using the laptop and driving around

It is a good idea to buy things that have reduced lead in them but until recently I think no one would have thought that lead would be a problem with toys.

Chuck, where did you buy that? I looked at one last year from Mobile Edge that cost $29.99.

That is a cool device. The onlything is it wont tell you if the wifi connection is encrypted or open or what signal you are trying to pick up. You might end up with a very strong signal and then relize that your parked next to me and i have a WIFI router in my truck :+ but if you ask me nicely i may let you hook up to it
