No but on the other hand I would not be without it. Mine will not stay on the Truck Routes Only Mode. So I get to see all those beautiful Victorian homes in older cities. (I do not think they enjoy me as much as I enjoy them though hmmm)

Use alot of common sense and remember your the Boss not the little voice telling you to get off here. Pre-plan your trip in advance and if tells you turn here and you already know you will be much fuhter ahead. As for getting there with in a few miles they are great as long as there are no Victorian Homes Near the drop....

Victorian Homes always = Very large low Hard Wood Trees not very good for our High Box Trucks... plus narrow streets with Large Yuppie Cars Like HUMMERS and the likes.

This is the defacto standard for truck routing. Unfortunately they know they are the only truck product and put out a mediocre product. Many of the addresses you need to go to will not be recognized. You will have to settle for something hopefully nearby and finish the trip on your own. Many of the directions will tell you to take xxx east and when you get to the ramp your choices are north/south. For some reason they removed the truckstops from version 9. In the prior version, version 4 (who knows why they skipped from 4 to 9), you could get a list of truckstops. Now they are gone. Why they don't buy the same map as Microsoft Streets and Trips, which only fails to recognize about 1 out of 1000 addresses instead of their 1 out of a dozen, is a mystery. I guess when you are the only game in town you don't have to be any better than mediocre.

You might want to join the hotshothauling.com forum and check their software topic .TGPilot had a Garmin but is trying out new software available from OOIDA . It seems to be very good software for truckers
