when i look into the directions for a delivery my magellan breaks distances in seperate mileges.....like i-40 50, i-40 25, i-40 50 and i-80 63, i-80 47, i-80 23.

is there a gps that just shows the breakdown like i-40 125, i-80 i-80 123?

how does your do this? what brand and model?

I have the garmin nuvi 465.It gives total distance from pick up to delivery, but it also does what yours is doing i think.Example, if going down I-40 and there is another expressway,or state hwy branching off,or crossing it will give me the break down in miles untill i pass. Then gives miles to next hwy,or expressway,or my exit. This is the only gps i have had,so i don't know,if they all do the same thing?

Hello, Jack! Me and my wife met you and Gracie in Barstow at the "J" a few months back.

The latest update to the TND 500 allows you to use the touch screen to tell you miles from your truck GPS position to where ever you touch on the screen. Yes, it tells you miles to the next "segment", such as an exit or transition. But, you zoom in or out to find where your interstate ends, for example, and touch on that point on your map--it will list the mileage on the top right of the screen. Very convenient and handy.
