went to a different egl station to help out the first day was great
plug in all the stops had to make, just kept on rolling and on to next stop no problem, at the end of day got what i was going to do for the next day and started to put in address and gps went down hard
and all kinds of wier things started to happen
glad i had mapping and routing they gave out so i had to do it the
hard way
didn't know how much missed gps , called tvnav.com and they said they can fix it and cost of it was good price and send it back good as new
so now have to wait 2 weeks so have to rough it
but it work great and long time for time it was used for 2 years 8 to 10 hours a day

people told me to try a couple of things , and they may work
plug it in to 110, and turn it on and see if that will restart the unit and i did and it worked than back with 12v and that work to
just need to shut down and a restart amazing what you learn by accdent
people at tvnav.com know there products if you have a problem with garmin product they will know what to do
so for the moment don't need toget unit rework or a new one

Same thing happened to me last week on my one month old unit. Take face plate off and there is a RESET button, WALA. I for once read the instructions after my panic attack..
