Goodbye Astro, hello Big 'B'!

Well I finally got out of my trusty old Astro and bought a nice used 2001 Savana 3500 with a 10' cube. Wow what a difference. I am happy.

Now to get some E-track installed. As soon as dispatch found out I had this bigger ride they sure put it to work!

I am contracted to Dynamex out of Baltimore and run mostly dedicated work.

Congrats, but that's what is referred to as a boxvan. A cube is a little bit larger.

I was down to the Dept of justice place Dept of Prisons last week delivering office chair samples...seems the prisoners in WV mens build chairs for the fed.gov. there!

New rumour: DX is lookin into opening an expedite division in the Columbus Ohio area..our U.S business is really picking up for some reason...

Hi Ken! Glad to see you again. I was wondering 1f you were still around. Yep-yep took me long enough to get a decent truck. Darn money issues.

Hmmm.... DX in Columbus. I have been thinking of moving to eastern OH for nearly a year now. To be honest though DX here in Baltimore has kept me hopping lately.

Mike yeah been busy and puter problems last 6 weeks been to Billings Montana , Tulsa,Oklahoma , and Maimi, Florida and St Johns Newfoundland..all out of the Toronto area!

Great to hear DX is finally working you the xtra bucks before X-mas is good.

Thanks guys! Yepper a big change from Astro. I am so far quite happy with it. It is in terrific shape, decent miles (81K) and not too pricey at $12,000. My knees are thanking me as I no longer have to crawl inside to retrieve cargo.

The extra work being assigned to me is going to more than pay for the extra costs of the new ride.

Oh yea, Big 'B' has a second meaning. It's also Big Bananna!
