Yes I sure have, I have posted a couple things and responded to others. Sorry thing is that I have gotten no response at all on the ones I have responded to. Not even squat. But thats ok as I do not discourage easily.

Cool! Glad you are "consuming" the wealth of knowledge here! Have you tried our EO Classifieds for your job search?

Okay, here are the set-backs.

1. No CDL yet.

2. Oklahoma based

But here is how you can overcome this and get offers much quicker...

1. Get a Class "A" CDL ASAP!

2. Get a HAZ/MAT endorsement.

2. Get your Passport

3. Delete and repost your ad every 14 days.

This will help you get an offer IMMEDIATELY!

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the tips...

As for the CDL. I have been studying and will have no problem passing the written test. The problem is finding something to do the driving test in. Would prefer to just get B class right now. Hazmat should also be no problem.

You say Oklahoma based is a problem? I am not sure about that because I am located quite nicely by I-40 and I-35... Well not far anyway.

But I am working on try to achieve what you say.

If I had a co-driver right now I would have a better chance of getting on with companies that do not require a CDL and it would also help me get some OTR experience.

I just need to find a fleet owner or company that is willing to work with me and give me a chance to prove myself.

Thanks again

If you feel confident enough to take the driving test most third party test sites have a truck available for testing. It costs around $100-$150 to use their truck. You might want to ask what kind of truck they have. The first place I went to test, they had an old street department truck, belly plow and all. The tester said just ignore anything that doesn't look familiar.
