A half mile east of US81 on Main St. or 85C in Bruning, NE. is Betty's Place. I stopped in the other morning and had an excellent breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. There is parking on either side of the street in the block immediately west of them that would handle big trucks and vans can park right in front. I know it wouldn't be often that US81 would be the routing for a job but if you are ever on 81 and hungry that's the place to stop. It is about 25 miles or so north of the Kansas line. I hope if I'm ever that way again it's during business hours.
