Just remember you can make a go of it in a van, you will have to work hard at it though. Splitting you pay 65/35, 70/30 is gonna be even tougher, but it can be done if your smart and lucky
btw TMI:eek:

Splitting income in a CV is really tough unless you have no bills other then what it cost you to run the truck and stay on the road. If you have to pay household bills off the income of a CV that is owned by someone else, you are in big trouble ...you will need a good 2nd income to drive for someone, live on the road and pay household bills.....

Lord knows I'm dumb as a stump. That being cleared up. It would seem to me IF your getting 60% & paying for fuel, and can get 1500 miles per a 7 day week @ $.85 per mile. These are minium expenses you would have. Fuel $2.50 Gallon @ 18 mpg gas rig. $208.00, Satelite @ least $35.00, Insurance, Liabilty, Bob Tail & cargo, may not be your cost,@ least $31.00, food $70.00, phone $15.00, 25% DH 375 miles another $52.00. There are probablly things I have left out. (see opening line) Such as Laundry, toys you don't need, items for the truck, ect, ect. 1500 miles @ $.85 = $1,275.00 60% = $765.00 minus $411.00 = $354.00 for your 24 hour a day 7 day week. Clearly there may be better weeks, but also there can be less mile weeks also.
