Just curious and I know I'm reaching back a few years. I'm looking for any pictures that may still be out there in Cyber Space of Glenn Rice's l'l Deuce...I've always admired his One of Kind Expediter Unit, It's unfortunate the Rice's were Involved in a Serious Accident that Totaled their Unit at the Time...Thanks

Search Glen Rice Volvo and you'll get the news story of the wreck with some before and after pics. Last week at ARI I mentioned Glen Rice and the salesman pulled out a postcard of the truck that Rice had printed up. Salesman claims Glen stops in ever so often. I've wanted t start a What's Glen Rice doing these days thread, but felt awkward in case he'd passed. Hope the ARI Salesman is right in the fact that Glen is still cruisin around.

He's still around, I think he is doing some trucking thing the last time he posted here.

Before Bentz split up, the showroom had an article on the truck [with photos of the awesome interior], but I don't know who took it after the split....It was a gorgeous truck, and a tragedy for Glenn & Janice when it was destroyed.:(

As others have mentioned, Glen is up and around, active on Facebook and driving a truck. He owns and operates a Kenworth W900 and leases it to a power-only carrier. He recently hauled a trailer for a circus loaded with live tigers.

Because of injuries sustained in that horrific accident, Glen's wife Jan does not drive but she is on the road with Glen every day as a passenger.

I did the Power only thing for ten years as side job. It's more a hobby than trucking.

Glad to heat that Janice is out there with Glenn, we knew he was driving again. That is one of those things that you remeber where you were when you heard of the accident. I still remember seeing it on the news that morning sitting in Philly trying to figure out why the truck looked familar, it was engulfed in flames. When the camera panned around to the right side I could see enough of what was left of The Duece. It still gives me chills thinking about that accident.

Glen and Janice Rice are great people that helped change expediting to what we all enjoy today. As Phil (ATeam) has posted Glen is on Facebook and post's some pretty cool pictures of hot rods too.

Not to trash legends, but I wonder why they don't post here any more?

Isn't this community important enough to spend some time here?

I wonder why they don't post here anymore would have a more positive tone. Let's see, too busy ? Not expediting anymore ?
