A word to the wise: No doubt during normal business hours you can get gas cheaper elsewhere. The big truck stops are undoubtedly gouging a bit, and don't even get me started on Mobil's price gouging (higher prices than ANYBODY else, by far). After hours, though-- don't count on the small stations even being open. After about 8:30 PM local time, you're better off biting the bullet and paying the truck-stop prices, since at least they will be open. If you know some non-truck stop stations that are open, by all means use them if it's to your advantage. But, as a general rule late at night I don't like to take chances. We've already had one newbie posting that they needed gas and it would be two hours before the gas station in town would open, so-- it happens, and it's best to be prepared.
