In the past month, I was in Laredo in a D unit, and the Pilot was out of fuel - having always been there in a gas van before, I'm wondering: does that happen often?

We are over in Edinburgh at the Flying J and ALL of their fuel pumps are down since Saturday. You cannot get Gas or Diesel here at this time and so far we have not seen anyone working on their electronics. They have plenty of fuel just no computers for the fuel pumps. When is south Texas and empty you need to make up your mind on the weekend what your plans are as on Monday morning when all of get unloaded we will flood the boards. I know of at least one truck headed for Laredo and we will be in the Harlingen board in a short period of time.

THANKS to everyone for your comments. On the rare times that my trucks have been to Laredo, they've never gotten a load back out. That's why I was questioning whether to have them stay or drop & run this time. Since they didn't get a load outta there (no big surprise to us), I sent them up to Dallas the next morning. We've always had excellant luck getting out of there on Mondays and the loads have paid real well. Keeping my fingers crosed that the luck is still with them!!! They are a "C" unit, so they get out of areas pretty quick most of the time. Again, a big "THANK-YOU" to all of you.:)

JD all my loads pay about the same, unless I'm doing a discount, most loads comming out of Dalls are discount,so I stay out of Dallas.I get 2700 bucks back to ohio from Houston, will more than pay the dead head there, from Laredo, although have loaded from Laredo,I just wont sit there if there are other trucks there.
