Getting a percentage instead of flat rate

Another interesting example is full truckload produce that is time critical but not especially high-value. It's exclusive use in that the entire truck is dedicated to the load and time critical because the produce will spoil if not quickly delivered. In that sense, is a load of lettuce an expedited load?
I suppose it is!

I think that companies should pay the driver which ever way pays more. Per mile or a % that would be a transparent company. Pays more to the driver

Your thinking outside the box. I like that. What if an small, new, up and coming company paid that way? As they grew they would/might have to change their pay to the current model but could they make it?

I don't think that is ever gonna happen I'm not sure anyone would give more than they have to its a good dream , when I make more I give a bonus to my guys but I still have to make up for loss and I don't believe for a moment that the big guys would ever adopt that theory

We can always dream. Lol. I'll be bringing it up at our safety meeting. See what response I get.
