Generator Storage

Bill just pretty much said the same thing. Yes, it's rated at 2000. Ugh. I'll research the load before moving forward for sure.

This our setup

Sweet. Pretty darned sure I saw this pull into a J somewhere. Or one very similar.

The Honeywell/Generac (same thing) is very quiet and runs about half price of the Honda or Yamaha. I'll use it for home when I dish out for the more expensive one. However, it does only hold a gallon of fuel which runs the portable KY unit for almost exactly 4 hours.

Any way to feed gas to this using a pressure system or boat fuel tank? I saw a utube vid on this, but not sure how he set it up.

Looked at that one and it was pretty close with the Honeywell kicking up to 2200 watt. The KY80 is only 8000, but hit the safe zone for the Honeywell. This one's a close call at 12,000.

I know at only 8000 BTU, on a hot day, I have to bring the unit out of the enclosure and stick it right in the doorway of the sleeper area. Need heavier curtains on the back "wall". :D

Wandering... that's exactly the setup I want when I replace that current one. Talked to the guy. Very nice. He has alot of videos on youtube. I really want a diesel option. Would prefer a single fuel drawing off the tank.

I haven't talked to him but I watched all the videos on his site and he sounds like a serious minded guy and I'd be very surprised if the remote start didn't work exactly as promised. And having all that power would be great. But twice the cost. Yikes! I've got two minds on this one. What I want and what I can afford are probably two different things.

Realize it's a ST question....but can anyone comment on CV storage for generator and gas container?

Only use the Honeywell for the portable AC. Anything against these items being in the van?

And while we're off topic for a moment.....what is the rule coming in and out of Florida for the veggie check station? Does one have to hauling fruit or veggies to pull in? Or is it mandatory either way?

It says ALL vehicles must enter station...including vans.

I've never stopped in a cargo van even though it says to since 93 just drive
