Don't buy one that has modified sine wave or you'll be looking for another one that works
Anything with digital controls is gonna rebel look for pure sine wave inversion.

But that's the point. The Honda will not run the 8000 Portable. The 600.00 Honeywell, will.

Your right on.....and why the Yamaha 2000/2400 peak with 1.6 gal tank is the front runner. It's double the money though.....

But! If we don't have to worry about fuel transfer, cutting for window unit, adding front or rear hitch, or filling every 4 hours.....that's a lot of conundrum solved in one fell swoop, and plenty of power. 30 pounds more weight, but might be worth it.
