Ge moving x-ray leadership team from us to china

I will start by saying if I knew how to post the link I would.


So GE says it is moving its x-ray global headquaters from Wiscon to Beijing as it seeks to tap china and other emerging markets.This is following the news last year that GE healthcare was investing 2 billion in china.including 500 million in six research centers.

Anne legrand vice president and general manager of GE healthcare went on to say they would launch 20 new products over the next two years.She said the products would be made for china "but we see the potenial down the road for Exporting to some of the emerging markets"Legrand went on to say no jobs would be lost here in the U.S.(Same thing GE said when they moved the production of their light bulbs to China.yet all the bulbs are now made in CHINA.)Never mind the fact that Legrand went on to say GE has already hired almost 100 enginers for the center in Chengdu.100 new jobs in china created BY one of the largest American companys= 100 less jobs in america.With thousands more to go!

This research that GE is going to spend billions on is some of the same research that Obama wants to spend billions of tax payer dollars on.Now I bring this up because the C.E.O of GE Jeffery Immelt is sending a large division of his company over to china and the result is going to mean thousands of new jobs in CHINA.NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH THIS!!!

February 2009 Obama appointed Immelt to his economic recovery advisory board,to provide the preisdent and his administration with advice and counsel in fixing America's economic downturn.JANUARY 21 2011 Obama announced Immelts appointment as chairman of his ECONOMIC ADVISERS.
Then Obama named Immelt "chairman of the council on jobs and competitiveness" a panel created by Obama using his EXECUTIVE ORDER POWERS.So the guy that obama has made so important to our recorvery and jobs here in america is still sendind jobs OVER TO CHINA.instead of keeping them here.


So tap a guy to help fix AMERICA that sends thousands of jobs to china and mexico,whose company made billions in profit yet paid ZERO IN TAXES.Yep that is really putting AMERICANS BACK TO WORK.Obama has refused to give this guy the boot even with calls coming from his own party to do so.YET the faithfull sheep line up for the FLAVOR AID.AND BLAME REPUBLICANS FOR THE COUINTING DOWN FALL OF OUR COUNTRY.YEP THATS SOME REAL HOPE AND CHANGE FOR YOU!!

GE is moving where the business climate is better than here and where the talent is. I don't like it but I don't see the problem with just GE - I see the problem with our country, our education system and our business climate.

Maybe the Fairtax is one possible solution.

You are right greg it is a large problem with many companys.Yet GE is the worst of the worst.And the fact that Obama has such close ties that the left turns their eyes at is what is part of the problem.For 8 years they cried,yelled and stomped their feet like 2 year olds about bush/Halliburton.yet dont seem to care cause its their god.


The left says how the evil rich companys need to pay their share.They scream to the republicans where are the jobs at?Yet say nothing about the fact that the man who Obama has made his top adviser on creating jobs keeps sending jobs to china while Obama looks on and smiles and tells them that JEFFERY IMMELT is the man thats gonna help put them back to work.And they keep drinking the flavor aid!

My biggest point it with Obama putting people like Jeffery Immelt in charge nothing is getting done to create jobs here.Obama does not see the problem with putting a man in charge of a jobs creating panel,when that man has sent tens of thousands of american workers jobs to china and mexico,Then Obama does not really see the problems at all.

I understand your point but GE isn't the worst even if their CEO is sitting with the prez drinking long island ice tea while discussing how to screw the US citizens.

I won't get into the worse offenders but your point is well taken and goes back to another comment I made in another thread - anyone figure out yet who is in charge of the congress?

Is it Obama or the congress and people?

No matter how you want to have it look, most of this stuff would not happen if we had a strong country where people cared more than the buck they make. Now that we have been complacent for 50 years, we are seeing the results of our being in the corner and not worrying about what happens in Washington.

We have to make a change and I am afraid that this congress is as inept as the last two have been (meaning which side the power leans) and will be after the next election because we all are buying into the bs and not making enough noise yet.

GE can move their team, so will other companies but until we get it together and make this country work again with lower taxes and regulations.

I n all honesty....What has America got to offer companies at this point in time...??? Nothing....nada....GE American? Last time I looked they were referred to as a multinational corporation....that happens to be here...
