I found a usb cable, so I tried the workaround suggested in post #18. It works. One thing I did lose is eta's beyond 24 hours out (just like the old nuvi's, so I'm used to it even if I don't like it). I won't celebrate this progress until I take it on the road and see how it behaves when I cross a couple time zones.

EB, thanks for posting the master reset info. My 465 froze again yesterday and I may try that just to see if maybe it'll be a little less retarded.

Kinda scares me all these problems with these newer ones my 200 has been trouble free, sounds like they put the newer ones out to market too quick

I finally have the chance to see how the unit behaves driving across time zone lines. It works. Removing the time zone files is a workable work-around.
