Fuel prices here in Ontario seem to be easing just a bit.
GASOLINE had gone to over 1.30 PER LITRE!!!!! (just under 5.00 per gallon)
Tonight they dipped back under a dollar.
I paid 97.9 PER LITRE at the Husky truckstop on Shawson Drive in Mississauga. Now that's still expensive.
The sign showed diesel being 98.9 per litre.
3.78 litres to the gallon is $3.73.4 per gallon (Canadian).
I don't know, though, just how expensive fuel will have to get to for truckers to shut the engines off when parked. The four wheeler pumps are next to the bob-tail parking area. Most of the tractors were idling away.
Oh well, they still complain about expensive fuel and then pizz it away. Things never change.

Once upon a time we in Detroit used to go across the bridge, get some supper and fill our gas tank. At that time gas was $1.63/gal in the states and $1.23 in Canada.

It was not a dream.

At least it's down a little. Several stations last week hit 1.02.9 for diesel. Now I'm driving a Sprinter and getting 27mpg (cdn) with the air running mostly in town runs. So for me it is still high priced but a little easier to handle
