Fuel Mileage

O/O of a 1998 FL70 with CAT 3126, 6 speed automatic, 22' dry box, 84" sleeper and liftgate scaling out with full dual 75 gallon tanks plus personal gear at 23,000 pounds.

Last 2 loads I got 11.3 mpg driving 55 mph and 10.5 mpg driving 60 mph right after these loads I had oil changed along with filters including air filter. Oil analysis showed all to be in top condition.

Be interested in finding out if there will be any mpg change after all filters and oil was changed?

Maybe alittle but not much. Your numbers seem about right for that set up.

John O great job! That just goes to show if you can keep your foot light on the petal you will get great returns. We still have not broke eleven mpg but it sure hasn't been for lack of trying.

Oh baby: at that rate (I'm assuming you were lightly loaded, no high winds, etc.) you could easily run 65 & drop to 9.8 mpg? Still would be great.
Curious- was this climbing hills, or fairly flat terrain? What is your gearing? I know your trans has 2 o'drives and top gear is .65, but what is your rear axle ratio?
With a 315 ISC, 4.10 RA, and final drive of 3.03 with a .74 10 spd. trans, I can muster 9.8 mpg at best at 55-60. Usually I run in the 8.5-8.75 range.

Almost always lightly loaded except for those few times when load is above 13,000 no high winds and mainly flat terrain. Don't have information on gears.
