fuel in florida

just heard a report that stations are saying theyre out of fuel but really they arent, there just keeping what they have until after the storm hits so they can sell it at a higher cost. a guy on the news said he has 15 trucks there.

the problem whith fuel in florida is they do not have a pipe line yes they r having trouble geting it it has to be barged in bush whants to run a pipe under the ocean to cur this problem but the people do not whant it so untill the get there pipe line fuel will allwayes be high there}>

Florida does not have a pipeline for fuel? I thought that the one coming into Pensacola and the other into Jacksonville was for fuel. Even though these are northern cities, I understand that there is some distribution following the natural gas lines south. See the navy bases received their fuel (ships take a lot of fuel, both heavy oil and jet fuel) from the same distribution lines that the public did. Maybe now they truck a lot in, but back 15 years ago it came in both ways.
