I am wondering if a strait truck gets better fuel economy than a big class 8 rig. and if so what's everyone getting. i'm looking at a Cascadia with a box on the back with a sleeper

I was getting 11 or so in my m2 with mb motor till it puked dead

We get about 11.2 in our cascadia. We have a big sleeper, Liftgate, etc...

Was getting 10.4 on my M2 106 with mb engine, until driver took it under 11'8 overpass. Got 0 after that.

370hp with the allison will be low. For around the same money you can get a 410hp with an ultrashift or a dt12 transmission. Both offer better mpg. Look into Expeditertrucksales.com. They have some models spec'd well at decent prices. (Financing too).
