Yes as i recall it was over supposed weapons of mass destruction.

but one question how many weapons of mass destruction did we get from there?

Was any ever found or was that just an excuse played to the american people to get them to support the war.

As i recall it was all just a bunch of lies.

but the truth is bush needed something to bring up his ratings and give the american people something to think about other than 911

so they created this war to let osoma slip from our minds.

I mean shouldnt it have been more important to find and kill osoma
after all hes killed americans in our own back yard.

America is a great place, and it would be even greater if the politicians weren't for sale to the highest bidders, and the laws weren't written to accommodate the greed of the biggest corporations in healthcare, insurance, banking, etc., and incompetence at the highest levels (like the federal & state efforts in the Katrina crisis, Ohio's BWC investment-in-rare-coins fiasco, domestic automakers' failure to produce reliable and fuel efficient vehicles, bankruptcies & bailouts of major companies, failure to devise an equitable way to fund education, etc, etc,) weren't rewarded with outrageously over-the-top compensation at the same time that hardworking, taxpayers are being priced out of healthcare & higher education!!
If we continue to pay more attention to sports & television than what state & federal officials are doing with the money we earn, it will get even worse - why would they care, if we don't?
It is sad to know that we keep electing people who don't try to leave the country and the people who work hard to pay the taxes better than they found it. OK, I'm getting off the soapbox now - just sometimes I wonder why I work so hard just to stay even, you know?

Wow i do agree with you on that it isnt the fault of bush that our oil is so high its just we dont do our own drilling we want a nation where we dont have spills etc. I think we should drill if need be and build also if need be .I hope it helps also ,but in order to do that we will have to get by greenpeace and a host of other orgs that will lobby to stop it .Maybe if they cant start thier cars for lack of gas they might not show .

Don't kid yourselves. Greenpeace, and others like them, are the oil companys' best friends. They keep up the excuse, and litigation against building refineries. Without new refineries, they can only produce so much oil... thus keeping prices high.

Bush talked to the execs about building refineries. Know what they said? We have no incentives to build more. Bush should've said... Fine! You won't build them, we will!!!

Wishful thinking I guess.
