You know it's going to be bad outside when you open your front door, that is already a foot off the ground, and snow falls into the house  3-4 foot drifts everywhere I see and the street has not been touched since it started. Can't wait to start digging out what the plow truck leaves for me when ever they come. I think I'm going to be here a while

Just got home from the drive I mention on page #1 of this thread. I-94 was passable, rest-stops and exit ramps--- not so much. US 23 and M-14 weren't too bad this morning, and Ohio was reasonable. Coming back--- sunshine.

There's 19 inches of snow outside--- and that's a good place for it.

Delivered my load at 'the yard' then went on to pick up another one in MI. Freeways were in perfect condition, but side streets are a mess. I had to go about 4 miles on side streets to pickup, and in some places the snow was soo deep, I almost got stuck a couple of times.

That doesn't sound normal.

Is it a new unit? If it is, it might be that it is burning off stuff left over from the manufacturing processes. If it continues, have it checked asap.
