You should specify that only applies to detrimental posts. If your trying to suck up to a carrier owner or ceo than the posts will stay up.

Really? Wow. I was denigrated for refusing to publicly name carriers by some of the very same posters in this thread in the past....and because I refused to do so out of respect for my boyfriend and EO, I was attacked even more.
I think people have to do what is right for them, and if they have the experience and want to try to warn others, then they can post as much as they want.
They just need to be made aware that unnamed posts will be misconstrued as whining by the very bored and immature and named posts are in jeopardy of being locked out or removed.
Better yet, say nothing and let fellow EOers take their lumps.
Some people have more compassion than that.

Actually, you wrote cryptic, incomprehensible prose and then got denigrated when you got mad at everyone when nobody could understand what the heck you were talking about. The failure to name names had nothing to do with it.

It says everything I NEED to know...that there is a potential problem with a fleet owner and if you NEED more info PM me for details....
Thanks for the clarification. Those are the problem posts where no one knows who is right and the wronged party wants to automatically sue.

Yep..I do believe "regulars/mods" are given some slack when they drop the ball....we've all seen the irregularities....
after awhile we get used to how some members express themselves and their typing style....There are times people could read me and your Mrs. are arguing but most know we just butt heads....*l*...cuz ya know how stubborn she can be...

I said I would tell anyone anything they wanted to know in PM. Cryptic? Of course. Not tipping the hand too far to protect my boyfriend's interest and EO' s reputation. A simple PM would have cleared it up. Many did and now they know.
Of course, I also refused to rise to the bait and name the carriers publicly. If I had, I would have been jumped on for THAT. I firmly believe with my description of the main carrier, anyone who has been on EO for any length of time knew darn well who I was talking about. The pack of jackals was just trying to get me to commit forum suicide.
I got mad when people couldn't grasp the simple concept of the thread and rather than contact me in private chose to publicly attempt to humiliate me and my boyfriend...
So because those few that opted not to PM were justified in their boorish elementary behavior? It was fine for them to violate the EO Code of Conduct? Think not.
I will still name the carriers...in PM.
Bear in mind...I am not alone in this. It happens to many others who voice a concern/warning about a carrier. That's too bad, too. We are (were) under the impression we would look out for one another.
