Well first thing that comes to mind is that there is something wrong with the truck then the people who work on it. If anyone tells me that it happens more than once unless the truck is consitently abused, I would say that the people who work on it do such a cheap job or the owners don't want to pay to get it fixed right.
A condenser should last a little longer than a month or two, like a bunch of years. I know that the condenser on this truck has never been changed and the only vehicle I ever had problems with is a caravan which I refuse to fix, three times is too much.
As for what you can do, nothing really. Maybe watch how you shut the hood or stay away from gravel trains or live with the idea that you will not have air conditioning.
